Potcake Puppy Palace is a dog rescue based in Nassau, The Bahamas and was established in 2012. 1,414 dogs have been rescued through us over the last 10 years. As much as this feels like it should be a celebration, it shows just how never-ending and discouraging this work can be. We are non-profit organization, so we rely solely on generous donations & adoption fees to operate.

Mama Claire (as she is so affectionately called) is the heart and soul of this rescue. To say she goes above and beyond would be an understatement. She treats every pup that ends up at her rescue as her own and dedicates her life to ensuring they all have an opportunity to find their forever home.

While Claire & our volunteers in The Bahamas make sure all of the pups are looked after, we have volunteers in Canada working tirelessly to get the pups here and into foster homes while they wait to be adopted.
